There is a large paved turnout area, terminal parking spaces (14-day limit), and a fenced loading area for vehicles. If you are catching an early ferry, you may ask permission at the terminal to stay in your self-contained rig outside the terminal loading area. Otherwise the nearest campground is Harris River USFS Campground, 11.3 miles from here.

Hollis, Prince of Wales Island, served as a Ketchikan Pulp Co. logging camp and base for timber operations on Prince of Wales Island until 1962, when the camp moved to Thorne Bay.
