A quilt and fabric shop with patterns, books, gifts and notions.
’Oomingmak’ Musk Ox Producers’ Co-operative, is an Alaskan Native owned co-operative specializing in knitted masterpieces using Qiviut, the soft and rare fiber from the arctic Musk Ox. Our 200 Alaskan Native knitters create hats and scarves in a variety of patterns inspired by traditional arts and artifacts. Since 1969, this cooperative organization has provided the opportunity for people to earn a supplementary income while still practicing their subsistence lifestyle. For 57 years, the exquisite items the Co-Op members make in their homes have shared a little piece of Alaska with our satisfied customers from around the world. We invite you to visit us in downtown Anchorage at the little brown house with the Musk Ox mural on the corner of 6th and H Street.
