Located on a 0.6 mile spur road west of Milepost A 351.2 Parks Highway, 10 miles south of Fairbanks.
Ester is an appealing combination of historic and contemporary Alaska. There are several artist’s shops in Ester, including Judie Gumm Designs. Judie’s jewelry is seen in gift shops and stores throughout Alaska.
The Ester Gold Camp was built in the 1930s for large-scale gold dredging. Ester Gold Camp is currently closed to visitors.
