Richardson Highway, Alaska
Evening sun sets on the memorial monument honoring General Wilds P. Richardson, the namesake of the Richardson Highway. Located on the summit of Isabel Pass (elev. 3,280 feet), this scenic spot also offers a view of Gulkana Glacier, perched on 8,000-foot Icefall Peak. The glacier feeds streams that drain into both Prince William Sound and the Yukon River.
