White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad leaves Skagway, Alaska
The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad offers day trips from Skagway, Alaska. This historic railroad was built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush. In addition to its historic significants, a ride on the White Pas & Yukon Route Railroad offers dramatic views of mountains, glaciers and waterfalls on a clear day. Skagway is accessible via the South Klondike Highway, off of the Alaska Highway, or the Alaska Marine Highway.
