Stop by the rest area at Milepost P 7 on the Denali Highway for views of the Alaska Range and Sevenmile Lake. This area offers viewing benches, picnic tables, a pit toilet, and bear proof garbage cans. On clear days look for Summit Lake and Gulkana Glacier in the distance.
About a half-mile from the rest area is a gravel road that leads to Sevenmile Lake. The lake has informal camping, primitive fire pits, and good lake trout fishing.
