The Georgeson Botanical Garden on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

The garden is open to the public June 1 through Labor Day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Colorful displays feature many varieties of flowers in season and a kiosk offers information on northern horticulture. The garden hosts a variety of free events throughout the summer. Requested donation is $5 per person.

NOTE: No pets please, in the garden or on nearby lawn.

The garden is part of the Fairbanks Experiment Farm, originally a federal experiment station established in 1906, and is operated by UAF’s School of Natural Resources and Extension.
