Atlin, British Columbia

The MV Tarahne (Tah-ron) sits on the shore of Atlin Lake. Built at Atlin, British Columbia, in 1916 by White Pass & Yukon Route, she carried passengers and freight from Atlin to Scotia Bay until 1936. The restored Atlinto, a gas-powered propeller boat first launched in 1911, is also here. Atlin is accessible via the Atlin–Tagish–Carcross Scenic Loop from the Alaska Highway.
